Formation of the IES College of Fellows
The IES College of Fellows was formed to effectively respond to the challenges and to provide a clear and confident voice in leadership among professionals.
IES can harness the collective experiences and expertise of its Fellows so as to mobilize them to take an active part in knowledge transfer, honing life-long skills of members, and promoting the arts and science of engineering.
Vision
To be the leading champion on the art and science of engineering and the developer of engineers of the future.
Mission
To harness and direct the collective knowledge base and expertise of IES Fellows towards educating the engineers of the future.
Objectives
~ Mentoring IES members in professional development, entrepreneurship, and
service to IES and the community
~ Promoting and transferring IES technical knowledge, and the arts and science of
engineering
~ Championing IES strategic thrusts and engineering enterprise
~ Raising awareness of IES activities and ideals among engineers and professionals
~ Commenting on and communicating IES proposed solutions to enhance
productivity and to solve industry problems to benefit the national economy
~ Assisting in reviewing and contributing to IES technical materials and information
dissemination
~ Lending support to IES outreach and international programmes
~ Assisting in growing the IES Academy
